Let me give you an example of how burned into my brain that is. Up in this area that I've moved to north of Atlanta, it's a very interesting area. The further you get out from Atlanta the more interesting it gets. You can see on the same street million-dollar homes next to old farmhouses next to old beat-up places.
As a matter of fact, when you drive out of my neighborhood onto the main road, right across is a beautiful old barn with a hole in the side. I love that old barn. You look at it and stories begin to create in your mind. I was coming up this way a while ago to pick up one of my sons from school, and this one particular older home usually has some kind of something for sale in the yard - furniture, trucks, cars, etc. This particular day they were giving away a bunch of furniture. The big sign said, “Free! Take what you like. " I drove past and noticed that, and it's embarrassing almost to admit this but my next thought was, “Wow, they're giving that away for free. Don't they at least get the person's email?"
That's how burned into my brain this is, and I want it to be that way for you, too. That just becomes a natural action for you. As it becomes more natural, it's easier to ask, easier to get, and you just do it as if it's expected, trading the email for more information from you.
