If you expect to write one or two articles and then sit back and wait for endless stream of traffic from those few articles, you're going to be disappointed. It doesn't work that way. How could you increase the chance of being noticed with your articles?
The first method that I always emphasize on is great title. With an attention pulling article title, you can stop qualified readers right in their tracks. If what you promise is interesting enough, they will click and read your article.
Articles are often buried in the hundreds, if not thousands of other articles, especially in article directories. While using the right keyword strategy should make your articles stand out, this is not always possible for very competitive niche.
I have another approach though. This technique is best if used in combination with the methods I explained above. What is it? As the title implies, this additional method is to create a network of related articles.
For instance, if you are writing about rose gardening, you can write articles about 5 tips to grow rose, tools for beginners, must-have tools and how they could help, the pitfalls of using one or a few other tools, the right environment to grow roses, and so on.
Notice that I cover every aspects of the rose growing tools, as many as possible. The purpose is to create a network of very related articles. When posted in the article directories, people will automatically notice your name as the expert who are writing about roses.
People are less likely to go through the list of articles without noticing your articles if you have a lot of articles with the same topic.
You can boost credibility and visibility by using the same technique. Not bad at all, I'm sure you'll agree.
