You can use articles in many different ways. You can gain more publicity, prospects and profits from articles. But, it doesn't have to be limited to your own business, you can build other people's business using articles too. Of course, you will also benefit from that.
Affiliate programs give incentives to affiliates in the forms of commissions when they sell or give what the program owners want. It could be a sale, a click or a lead.
The problem is many article directories disallow promoting affiliate programs directly. How could you get around this limitation?
1. Long term strategy
Rather than directly promoting the affiliate products in the article resource box, which is not allowed in most article directories, keep the visitors for yourself. Get them to your site and make them subscribe for more information.
Capturing subscribers allow you to promote any kind of products or services as long as they still want to be on your list. Of course, you need to offer good quality content at the same time.
When people read your article, they may have known enough about the product to buy the product. Perhaps you provide an interesting review about the affiliate product in the article and now you can't stop them from spending their money on the product.
Upon clicking to your site, you offer them additional information along with unique bonuses they can get only if they buy through your site. How powerful that can be? Now you have just doubled their desire to purchase the product.
Either way, selling affiliate products can be very profitable if done right. Article marketing doesn't have to be limited to your own product. You can do that easily and if you use it strategically, you can really turn limitations into benefits.
