Ensure that you give them valuable (it doesn't have to be costly) in return for their name and contact information.
In other words, do it right. Not only you will be able to get in touch with them repeatedly even if they don't buy during the first visit. Over the years, marketers have found that rarely people will buy on the first visit and by using this strategy you are having an advantage over your competitors.
