Article Marketing Tips - Establishing Credibility Like A Brain Surgeon

No one wants to read a three-page promotional messages about how great your product or service is. If your article is nothing but blatant advertising, no one is going to read it. Perhaps you get high click through with a compelling headline and title but the back button on the browser is always one click away.

This may sound common sense but common sense is not always common practice. I've seen a lot of articles who do nothing but talk about how their product is so “insert a benefit here" everyone is raving about it.

Such article will not be circulated too, because no web publishers would like to advertise other people's product for nothing. Even if you give high incentive for them to do so, chances are they would like a better approach to selling.

Though the ultimate goal in article marketing is always more sales, using it improperly and solely for advertising is a certain way to make sure you never reach the audience. Most article directories won't receive such articles to maintain the quality of content available on their site.

Good quality articles mean people will come back for more to the site. This is exactly how you want to approach article marketing. By providing readers with quality information at no cost to them, you will reach far greater audiences.

Beginning article authors sometimes concern about giving away the store. Don't be. Being in the right mindset of giving a lot of value before taking back is the correct way to approach marketing.

After all, you have been involved in the business for some time, often years. You can't give away everything in 10,000 articles. Your audience may read all your articles and know a lot about that topic as the result of the articles. However, they still will lack the experience to implement it.

The more you give, the more they trust you and the more credible you become. Give away the idea and sell the system.

A brain surgeon would give away everything he knows about brain surgery so you gain 100 percent confidence on his ability. At the end of the day, you still have to hire him to do it.
