Q: Should I send one my articles to many articles directories or should I send many articles to one article directory? And which should I do first?
A: One of the many things I like about this question is that here is a person that could be thinking big, which is a great thing to do.
In the best of all possible worlds I would strongly recommend doing both. To make this really work for you, you need to get as many articles as you can in as many places as you can.
Here is what I mean - I write and publish 5 internet newsletters in some combination of weekly and monthly installments. With 846 articles as of February 26, 2007 (if this one is accepted) spread out all over the internet, and off line as well, I get new subscribers to every one of my newsletters everyday.
The Article Guy's 3-Tiered Approach
Tier 1 - Submit as many articles as you possibly can to EzineArticles.com They are the biggest and the best and you receive a huge bang for your buck when you submit many articles here. You want to reach a critical mass where your articles are attracting many prospects who want to read more of what you have written in other articles.
Tier 2 - Then submit these articles to other large article directories such as GoArticles.com, ArticleHub.com, Free-Journal-Articles.com, etc. This increases your reach and gets you links back to your site from some highly ranked web sites.
Tier 3 - Submit your articles to niche article directories. For example, if you are a coach, submit many articles to FreeCoachingArticles.com. In this way you can begin to get known, then well known, then dominate your niche.
Follow this 3-tiered approach and you will create a flood of prospects, publicity and profits from your articles.
