Article writing is so incredibly powerful, and can really generate a lot of traffic when it is done right.
Imagine writing an article for an hour, then getting 10 visitors from it. What if instead you could get 50 or 100 visitors from it instead?
One thing that is important is to do some keyword research and decide on some keywords that will send search engine viewers to your article. Next, be sure and optimize the article for the chosen keyword.
Another thing I do is really try to stick to the topic of the title. You see, I think that people read my article because they need something that my article title mentioned – of course. So if I stick to that topic, I have a better chance of them making it through to the end of my article and clicking.
I want to make sure I keep them reading, if I got them to click into the article.
I also feel that shorter articles are better. Why? Same as the last reason – they get to my bio faster and then can click. The longer I keep them reading the more chance they have to leave the page before they get to my call to action.
So I want short articles, plain and simple.
Another thing I do is try to keep a progression going in the article, so that when the reader gets to the bio at the end, they feel that in order to keep the progression going, they must click.
And one last thing: I try to write like I am just talking to them- nice, comfortable language.
Article writing can be a lot of hard work, you might as well make the articles you write and submit, get the maximum amount of traffic and click throughs.
