Article marketing has become one of the most influential, and much talked – about, internet traffic source today.
Now, you might notice that I did not say that article marketing was the most popular traffic source today, and I think that the reason for that is that people are generally lazy and are not willing to take the time to write a quality article.
Your job in writing an article is to persuade the reader to click on the website link that you should include in the authors’ ‘resource box’ provided by the article directory. An important point to keep in mind is that the visitor has reached your article deliberately. They very rarely find it by accident. Most of the work has therefore been done by the article directory. The visitors sent to your article have chosen to read it, and you have to make the article interesting and relevant to their problem.
People visit search engines to get information or to have a problem solved. If they find your article interesting enough, or if you can demonstrate to them that you know a lot about your subject, they will want to find out more and will click on the link you provide to your website. Once they do that, you then have to keep them their. How you do that is another problem, but at the very least a good article marketing strategy will lead them to a web page that is highly relevant to the topic of the article.
