Is article marketing not working for you? Let's find out why and what needs to change for article marketing to work for you.

The first thing that occurs to me when someone tells me that article marketing does not work is

"Wrong. Article marketing does work, you are just not working it correctly somehow. "

The most frequent reason that article marketing is not working for someone has to do with the number of articles they have written. One of the biggest mistakes is believing that just a few articles will do the trick.

It takes many, many articles out there for you to hit a critical mass. I hit a small critical mass when I got to 25 posted articles, and then a huge critical mass at 250 articles. Now at 792 if this one is accepted, I could not stop the traffic to my websites if I wanted to. And I don't.

Another reason why article marketing may not be working for you is you may not be using your resource box well. Many people look at the resource box in the same way a professional looks at their ego wall in their office (an ego wall is where you put your degrees and awards) - it's all about them.

Use your resource box to give readers a compelling reason to click over to your website. Guide them to more information, subscribing to a free service or a product. Give them a reason to come visit you.

The absolute worst thing you can do is give up. Keep at it, reach several levels of critical mass. Article marketing works when you work it, and work it right.
