Cosmetic Surgery - Looking After Your Eyes

Visitors: 184

The eyes are a part of us that can tell a lot about us and for many having nice eyes is a crucial factor in choosing a mate. Unfortunately, as we age the area round the eyes can take the strain and give the game away in an otherwise youthful looking face. Even in some young people there can be elements about the eye's that they may feel need correcting such as fatty deposits in the lower eye bag.

There are some things you can do to prevent this area aging prematurely including the following; Wear sunglasses in bright light to prevent you squinting, wear a moisturiser with a minimum SPF of 15 all year round, stick to a healthy and balanced diet and get plenty of rest (sleep deprivation can take it's toll on the eye area).

There are of course other factors that can contribute to aging of the eye area including of course your genetics and it is worth remembering that 90-95% of what we perceive to be aging of the skin is actually sun damage so that sunscreen is really worth it. One of the healthiest and most effective things you can do for your skin is to of course keep yourself hydrated and drink plenty of water.

If you do suffer from crows feet at the corners of the eyes then you can lessen the appearance of these by having Botox injected into the area to relax the muscles and give the area a much more relaxed appearance.

If you are suffering from fatty deposits under the eyes which causes a puffy and tired looking appearance you can opt for lower eye bag removal surgery (Blepharoplasty). This is very effective and can make a tremendous difference to the appearance of such an important part of your face.

Remember; the eyes are an important part of your image and despite your best efforts, if you don't look after this area they will give the game away.

If you are considering cosmetic surgery procedures in the UK such as Blepharoplasty you should seek an accredited surgeon who is registered with BAPRAS or BAAPS to ensure this plastic surgery runs smoothly.
