Spring break packages often come with many options. Do you want a package that includes food? Do you want a package that includes alcohol? What about activities such as snorkeling, jet skis, and parasailing?
Prioritizing these options can often be very difficult. Most college spring break students want all of these things in their spring break package, not just one or two. The problem is affordability. Choosing a spring break trip that includes all of the above can be very expensive. Some things need to be included in every package, others can be more cost effective if you purchase them when you get to your destination.
Spring break trips need to include at least one of the options shown above. Almost all of them will include transportation(cruise or flight) and several nights in a hotel, but need to include one extra option. One popular option is to add food on the ship if your taking a spring break cruise. Most cruises do not offer food and drinks on the ship as part of the package. Only the best cruise packages will include food and drinks on the ship and will offer all inclusive hotels at your destination that include food, drinks, activities, and alcohol during your stay. Try to find these packages. They are out there, you just need to do a little more research to find them. Typically agencies do not advertise the specifics that are included, so you will need to call and ask them exactly what is included.
Another option is to try spring break vacations that include rental homes. Many agencies have an agreement with home owners at specific destinations to offer their homes for rent during spring break. Typically these packages are more expensive than a cruise/hotel or flight/hotel package, but offer a new experience for you and everyone in your party. Just remember, vacation homes are usually away from other hotels, clubs, casinos, and restaurants. You will most likely need to get a cab to the fun stuff if you haven't rented a car at the airport or cruise port.
