Be honest with yourself- your vacation home guests need to first earn your trust before you are ready to rent your property to them. Always remember that you are allowing virtually strangers to stay in your property which has significant monetary value. But you need forget that your guests too consider their vacation to have considerable emotional and financial value as well.

The point here is that trust goes both ways and for this reason you need to remember this while making the rules for your Orlando Vacation Homes. Even though you can make whatever rules for your vacation home which you feel like, but you will surely want to keep it realistic and enforceable. Additionally, do not go overboard with making the rules as it can deter your potential guests from booking your vacation home.

Know some of the house rules which are easily enforceable and realistic and how to smartly implement them as well.

Realistic and Enforceable Rules

No long distance landline calls
Clearly inform your guests that they are not allowed to use the landline phone to make long distance phone calls. To avoid any confrontation with your guests, you can install a blocker for your landline phone via paying a small charge.

No glasses on the table
You can request your guest not to place the glasses on the table to ensure that the tables do not get stained. You can place coasters on the tables which will remind your guests to use them and not place the glasses directly on the table.

Maximum and minimum temperatures
You can instruct your guests not to lower the temperature of the air conditioner below a particular limit. To be extra sure that your rules are followed, you can install a tamper-proof thermostat to keep the temperature set at exactly the limit you want.

No burning candles
You will not want to make your vacation home messy with the wax of the burned candles. You can lay down the rule for the guests not to burn candles in your pool homes rentals. Another easy way out is not to provide any candles in your vacation home.

No pets
If you do not want pets in your vacation home, you can easily make it a rule. You can allow only those vacationers in your home that do not bring along their pet. But you cannot be 100 percent sure whether or not the vacationer bring along their pet unless you check personally. You can check it yourself, assign the work to your property manager or even request your neighbor to make the check. You can even add penalties in your rental agreement if your guests do not abide by your rules.

No guests of guests
You can add maximum occupancy limit for your Orlando Vacation Homes . You can also include noise and party policies. In this way, your guests will know the maximum number of people who are allowed to stay at the vacation home and the penalty which they will have to pay if they do not follow your rule!
