For many tourists cost does matter even if they are well to do. They could be having an extended stay in India or could be on expensive shopping spree. Whatever! Money saving does matter. Hence when you are seeking accommodation in Ranthambore and the best one, make some smart decisions to get the best bargain.

Ranthambhore is a tiger reserve and a National Park in India. It is very popular in Northern Circuit and part of Golden Triangle Package Tours. It is generally an extension of Golden Triangle itinerary which is a visit to New Delhi, Agra for Taj and Jaipur the Capital of Rajasthan. The Northern and Western Indian circuits include sightseeing and tiger safaris to fabulous places hence are very popular with overseas visitors.

Rajasthan is rich in Hindu architecture that dates back to the time of Rajputs and other warrior clans. The marvelous forts, palaces, noble houses and temples are cynosure one cannot ever forget. The architecture carries grandeur and romance and of course fine arts in the walls and the carved marvels as statues and impressive idols. This remarkable construction is heritage of the Rajasthan and well preserved for ages.

Besides expressing the masonry and indulgence in fine arts the edifices narrate bloody history of the valiant Rajputs and their conquests over the foreign marauders the Moghuls. The turbulent saga has ceased over period of time but the heritage, the product of turbulence and classical lifestyle of the Maharajahs lives on. It is this classical architecture and lifestyle symbols that enrich the hotels in Ranthambhore.

The classical living of the Maharajahs can be best experienced in the heritage properties that are established near the National Park. The heritage properties have upscale rates as well so some tips for better bargain are mentioned here. First and foremost book in advance and then bargain. Even with upscale properties bargaining may result in best prices. Hence you can bring down the prices down by twenty percent. Do not take the tariff mentioned in the websites at face values. There is room for bargain. Book the best room but not necessarily the suites which are costlier.

If you are planning to take safaris book them online yourself. This way you will be assured of saving services charges if any. Also choose to go for excursions on a canter which is cheaper and offer good sightings. You can travel by rail from New Delhi to Jaipur which is some distance away from Sawai Madhopur. Most of the heritage hotels in Ranthambore are situated at Sawai Madhopur. Take a taxi from this township to your hotel this way you will save money as train travel is cheaper in India.
