There are certain steps to take when looking for a good beach. When you are on a vacation you want to make sure you find the perfect beach for you and your fellow travelers. When travelling down from Miami to Key West you have many options in many directions. Look into them carefully and find the ones that will fit your needs best. First, you should decide if you want a quiet or fairly busy beach. While in Miami, for example there are a lot of beaches, but many are packed with only a few more quiet areas. In Key West, there are an even number of both. The busy beaches offer more snack bars and more opportunities to strike up beach games with people you hardly know.

The more quiet beaches allow you to have peace and quiet for your tanning and swimming, more solo activities. After deciding on what type of beach you want, look at the locations. This step ties in with step number one. The more quiet the location is the further away from the tourist zone they tend to be. Do you want to have to drive 10 miles away from your hotel? Would you rather walk there? Do you want a short drive, a reason to take a car or a taxi to carry most of your stuff there for you? These are all important questions that need to be addressed. Miami Beach and South Beach are two beaches that have numerous hotels nearby because they are the more active beaches.

As you travel from Miami to Key West distance, they have more hotels along more beaches. There is Smathers Beach, Hyatt Beach, and Key West Beach. The third step is to plan what you want to do at the beach. This ties in with the first two steps because the location of the beach and the amount of people that are currently there affect the activities that you can partake in. There are also some beaches that have specific specials and deals that you can see and use to your advantage.

Check and make sure that the water is deep enough for diving while in Key West distance. Find out if you can have a boat or jet skis or other water sports of your own or if they offer them there. There are many beaches and spots, especially in the Keys that offer lessons in diving, fishing, and snorkeling. If you are looking for adventure, see if one of these beaches may offer it. Going from distance from Miami to Key West the beaches have clearer water that is a deeper blue and clean beaches. You just have to know what it is that you want in order to find the perfect ones for you. Follow the steps and complete the research. Also, look for specific times of the year.
