Singapore Botanical Gardens

It is currently the only botanical park in the world that is opened from 5:00 a. m. to 12:00 midnight every day. For Visitors, admission to the gardens is free, except for the Orchid Garden. The Botanic Gardens in Singapore began as an experimental garden in 1822 by Sir Stamford Raffles at Fort Canning.

The garden today is breathtaking with its nicely arranged landscape, its profusion of flowers and abundance of rare plant species. The Singapore Botanic Gardens also includes a number of wonderful attractions and these are Orchid Garden, Rainforest, Evolution Garden, Ginger Garden, Botany Centre, Tanglin Gate, Eco-Lake and Swan Lake.
