Planning For Your Disneyland Vacation

Visitors: 124

A trip to Disneyland is not cheap. If you're going to spend thousands of dollars for this trip, you have to make sure that you'll have an enjoyable vacation. But oftentimes, we hear of families whose Disneyland vacation was ruined. I know of this one couple who has a 2-year-old daughter and it was their first time to go on a vacation to Disneyland. When they get to Disneyland, they found the weather of California too hot and the crowd too large. The 2-year-old daughter wasn't able to see any amusing thing because the only thing that she saw are crowds of people. It took 2 hours for them to get to the “It's a Small World" ride. Even before the ride started moving, the daughter was already asleep because of exhaustion. They just went back to their hotel and wasted their one-day pass at Disneyland. This is only one of the many stories of Disneyland vacation gone bad but had they planned early, they would have not experienced this at Disneyland.

Planning early will give you time to decide on the best date to go. You will have to consider the weather at California and the volume of crowd. If you have very little children with you, it is best to choose a date that falls from September to to November. Don't schedule your vacation during the hot summer season. You can also schedule your vacation during the first few days of December. But don't schedule it during the holidays because there are so many people going at Disneyland during this time. Besides, the park tickets are also very high during the holiday season.

Planning early for your Disneyland vacation will also give you the opportunity to shop for the best deals on hotel accomodation. The hotels near Disneyland make a lot of profit from those who book during the last minute so as early as a few months before, check out the prices of the hotels that you like to stay in and book early. Aside from enjoying lower costs for hotel accommodations, you can also choose from a number or hotels. If you book during the last minute, you might find that the hotels you like are all fully-booked.

Then there is the park tickets. There are a number of legitimate resellers that give deep discounts for Disneyland tickets when you buy the tickets well ahead of your scheduled vacation. On the contrary, if you buy your tickets on the day of you vacation, you'll find that the tickets cost really high and you also need to wait in line for a long time. There are not a few times that families leave Disneyland without park tickets because the parks are filled up with people.

It is to your advantage if you take time to plan for your Disneyland vacation . It will not only save your time; it will also save you money and not to mention stress.
