Kerala is also popularly known as “Gods own country", situated in the south western tip of India, it encompasses an area which represents just 1 percent of the land mass. It is widely known for its beauty and is very popular among the tourists from all over the world.

Alleppey (or Alappuzha)
This place was founded by Raja Keshawadasan in 1762 and is a place with a vast beauty due to the Arabian sea with a vast network of lakes, rivers and lagoons. Also, popularly known as the “Venice of the East" among the travelers this place is a home for wide variety of flora and fauna and bird life.

Today this place is famous for the boat races, houseboat holidays, beaches, marine products and coir industries. Major places of attraction here are Kuttanad, pathira manal, champakulam church and Krishna temple.

Cochin (or Ernakulam)
Ernakulam (or Cochin) is located on the coast of the Arabian Sea with Kumarakom and Allapuzha districts to the South, Idukki on the East and Thrissur on the North side of it. It is the commercial capital and a cosmopolitan city of Kerala. With one of the finest natural harbors in the world, this was once a manor centre of commerce and trace with the British, Arabs, Chinese, Portuguese and Dutch. Major places of attraction here are “fort Kochi, Chinese Fishing Nets, St. Francis Church, Mattancherry Palace (Dutch Palace), Synagogue, Bolghatty Island, Willingdon Island.

Situated at the confluence of three mountain streams - Mudrapuzha, nallathanni and kundala, is Munnar. This beautiful hill station was once the summer resort of the British government in Southern India.

It is a place of tea plantations, small towns and lanes with holiday facitlities. One of the finest attractions of this place is the Neelakurinji flower which makes the hills go blue every twelve years and will bloom in 2019. Anamudi is another feature of this place and is the highest peak of South India being an ideal spot for trekking.

Other places of attraction are Pothamedu, Devikulam, Nyayamakad, Rajamala, Eravikulam National Park.
