Make your summer safer!

Visitors: 259

Every summer millions of people around the world are on the move. The number of travelers in the ports, railroad and bus stations and airports is tripled. Everyone tries to make their vacation as relaxing and pleasant as possible. For you who go by air in particular there’s a winning way to protect your journey. The solution goes by the name of SecureBag and consists of wrapping all types of luggage in a highly resistant special film. Included in the service is additional insurance for loss or damage of your luggage. It takes less than 30 seconds to wrap your luggage. The wrapping can be completely recycled and is non toxic and conforms perfectly to whatever size or shape. It protects your luggage from accidental opening and tears, humidity and rain. An adhesive seal with an alphanumerical identification code is applied to the wrapped luggage.

This luggage wrapping service is available at every TrueStar Point, a sales point managed by one or more operators and easily recognizable by its striking design.

A special machine wraps each individual item of luggage in a plastic resin protective film - ISO 9001:2000 certified - that is fully recyclable and non-toxic. The film, which can be stretched by as much as 200%, adheres perfectly to different shapes and surfaces. Thanks to its high resistance, adaptability to extreme temperature changes and multiple wrapping layers, it protects luggage from humidity, rain, marks and accidental opening. When the wrapping process is complete, an adhesive tag - SecureBag Label - is attached to the item of luggage. This label displays an alphanumeric identification code that, together with the distinctive green film, enables the item to be identified quickly if it is lost.

The concept was developed by Fabio Talin, founder of the TrueStar Group S. p. A, currently with over 100 sales points in 33 airports located in 13 countries.

This is what they say at TrueStar:

We think of ourselves as a “glocal” company: we are international, but we understand and respect the culture and traditions of each country where we have a presence.

Two things to remember as you embark on your travels – be sure to pack your toothbrush and wrap your luggage.
