Traveling to Miami and then traveling some more by Jean Francois

Miami is a place that many people travel to all year round, it’s a constant flow of people coming and going non-stop. One of the top places to vacation in the world so what exactly happens when you visit such a popular place like this? If you guessed more traveling then you were right. People may think that everything you can do in Miami is right here in Miami, but actually when you visit here it opens many gates to even more local vacation spots not too far away. One of the many popular places people go when they visit is the shuttle Miami to Key West, people like variety, and this is what Miami gives them. Not only are they going to one of the most beautiful places in the world, but they’re going to a landmark. Key West is the southernmost point in the country you can reach on land; it’s also only 90 miles away from Cuba. Another neat thing about it is the famous 7 mile bridge you have to cross to get there, you get a great view of the islands while riding on the bridge.

That’s not the only place Miami has to offer you to travel too. Another well known spot for you to visit while in Miami is Orlando; even though it may be 5 hours away a lot of Miami tourists stop by there for a couple days to enjoy themselves. Orlando has a lot to offer when it comes to having fun, the most popular things to do in Orlando are to go to the theme parks which are just a blast. Going from Miami to Orlando is really recommended for families, especially families that have children in them, the kids go wild at the theme parks, there’s just so much to do! When you go on this trip you can choose whether to stay one day, or stay a couple days and visit more than one theme park in a nice four star hotel. I’d have to say Islands of Adventure is the top pick theme park to visit; they have large roller coasters like the hulk ride, or the Spiderman ride, and my personal favorite the dueling dragons ride. So if you’re a thrill seeker Islands of Adventure is the way to go.

If you’re one who loves wildlife and nature, Miami has yet another trip to offer and it’s much closer than the other two I mentioned. The Florida Everglades, an extremely popular spot that most people who come to Miami tours stop there as well. It’s about an hour trip west of Florida into the swamp lands of Florida; it’s a reserve in the swamp lands where you can get up close and personal with the wild life and plant life there. When you visit there you can hop on this really cool air boat that takes you around the swamp land and you can see the alligators and crocodile and the way all the life around there lives and feeds. You’re also with a guide that explains the history and you can even bring souvenirs back, it’s neat!

So remember, when you’re visiting Miami you’re not only visiting Miami, there’s so much to do!
