India is a stunningly vast nation. It is vast not only in terms of its sheer geographical span (incidentally it is the seventh largest country in the entire world), it is vast also in terms of its culture and heritage. The country is regarded as one of the most culturally diverse countries. Nowhere else can you see such a contrast in landscapes and culture.

The northern part of the country boasts of the mighty Himalayan range which houses some of the most beautiful hill stations in the world, the vas desert in the West, and the beautiful beaches of South. The country is divided into 20-odd states and each state has its unique identity. Every state speaks a different language and every state is known for its set of customs and tradition.

Yet, there is an inconspicuous thread that binds them all. It is virtually impossible to explore the entire country in a single tour, unless of course, you plan a stay lasting for several months. The best way to go about exploring the country is visiting the most prominent tourist destinations. Many different travel packages are available that take you on a journey through some of the most exciting desitnations across the country. One of the most sought after packages is Golden triangle tour that covers the three most renowned cities of Delhi, Agra and Jaipur.

The journey starts from Delhi, and as a matter of fact, ends in this city.

Delhi has many fascinating destinations and important landmarks to visit. Some of them include, Qutub Minar, Jama Masjid, Tughlaqabad Fort, Purana Qila , Humayun's tomb, Red Fort, Lodhi Gardens, President's house, India Gate, Akshardham Temple, Raj Ghat, and the Lotus temple. Delhi is also famous for its food and its shopping destinations.

The next place in Golden triangle tour is Agra, which is located in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. This city is internationally known for its iconic monument- Taj Mahal. Apart from this spectacular sight, Agra is also famous for landmarks like Fatehpuri Sikri and Agra fort.

The final destination in this tour is Jaipur known as the land of kings. This city, true to the name of the state is abundant in palaces and forts. Besides the most famous Hawa Mahal- the primary reason why the city is popularly referred to as the “Pink city”, other attractions are Amber fort, Jal Mahal, Jaigarh Fort, and Albert Hall Museum as well as the city palace.

The tourists then head back to Delhi at the end of the tour. This tour can be best enjoyed with a travel partner that is experienced and enjoys and great reputation. Suman Travels is a very well know name in this domain.
