You can save a little money by purchasing a dual ticket. Sun Studio is open in Memphis for guided tours. This studio is considered the “Birthplace of Rock ‘n’ Roll. ” This is where Blues and Country Music turned into Rock and where Elvis recorded his music.
The Hermitage is the Home of President Andrew Jackson. Located in Nashville, the President’s mansion is available with guides in full costume. The home was opened as a museum in 1889 and over 15 million visitors have passed through the rooms of this beautiful house and plantation. The Hermitage celebrates Black History Month in February with Stories from the Hermitage Slave Community.
