Both the CN Tower which is the world largest free standing structure, and the Sky Dome where the beloved Toronto Blue Jays baseball team plays, are huge draws, but surprisingly another internationally known attraction is the city Eaton Center. Scores of shops and cafes are visited by thousands daily under an arched glass roof with designer geese suspended amid shiny décor, greenery, fountains and more.

Just down the street past the gorgeous Old City Hall is Nathan Phillips Square where the mayor of the mega city makes big-city decisions. The courtyard in front is like a neighborhood meeting place where many cultural events take place and the sparkling fountain waters turn into a public ice rink for the winter months. Just north the city is a popular theme park which is a sort of a Canadian Disneyland. Paramount Canada Wonderland features more than fifty rides including some high tech roller coasters, a huge water park, Hanna Barbera Land and live shows and concerts.

Aside from the many attractions Toronto is a great place to visit and live because of its natural beauty and exciting multiculturalism. For a city that is home to close to three million people Toronto is surprisingly clean and has many green areas and lush park land. Its many differing neighborhoods from Chinatown and Little Italy to Greek town, add a definite dash of internationalism to the mix.

Almost all life up here revolves around the natural resources of the forests, mines and lakes. Much of this portion of Ontario province is uninhabited and wild.
