It's a well known fact that women love Coach perhaps this is because Coach understands high fashion and then delivers with high fashion accessories that women truly love. With Coach bags being so popular and rather expensive it has produced a black market for fake or counterfeit handbags. With all those fake Coach purses out there these days, it is important for you to arm yourself with the information you need to know if you have a fake Coach bag. Not to worry though, I'll show you a few really good ways to know if you have a fake coach bag.

When trying to identify a fake Coach purse the first thing you want to look at is the outside. Look to see if the Coach CC patterns are on the outside of the purse. Now check the inside lining of the purse for the same CC pattern. They way you can tell if the Coach purse is fake is that the purse should have the CC pattern in only one spot. A dead giveaway is if the purse has the CC pattern on both the outside and the inside. Keep in mind that Coach is always changing their purses but they usually stick to a few design rules. Some coach purses lack lining all together but this is normal and not fake.

"Fixtures" are a great piece of hardware to examine to determine whether the Coach purse is genuine. A fake coach purse will not have the logo stamped into the “fixtures". Some fake Coach bags are stamped but it is poor quality so examine this carefully. Unfortunately this rule does not apply 100% of the time. Coach Classic purses do not follow this rule and do not have a logo stamped into the fixtures. The Coach Legacy bags are also not stamped on the fixtures. Again, Coach does change things sometimes so it's a good idea to check with your local department store.

An easy giveaway that a Coach purse is fake can be the zipper. The zipper, at least the part that you pull on, should almost always be made out of leather. Sometimes the part of the zipper you pull on is constructed out of rings. If the pull part of the zipper is made of something else than there is a good chance that the handbag is not genuine. Another really good tip for identifying a fake Coach handbag is to closely inspect the lettering on the actually zipper it's self. If the letters are YKS then the bag is fake. It turns out the Coach only uses the highest quality zippers and they happen to be made by the company YKK. So if your zipper does not have YKK then you know that you have a fake coach purse.

By employing all these tactics for identifying a fake Coach purse you should be successful in only purchasing genuine handbags. It's always a good idea to go with your gut feeling about something. Most deals that are too good to be true are in fact too good to be true. Happy shopping!
