There is usually a learning curve in order to succeed at anything in life. The learning curve comes before success is accomplished. When you start, there may only be a small portion of the required subject clear to your understanding. You'll probably need to know much more before you can succeed at what you're required to do. Most people fail at what they set out to do because they stop at the point of resistance. This point of resistance may be referred to as a “cusp to success. " On the one side of the cusp is failure; on the other side is success. People who fail give up before they surpass the cusp. Practically every person in developing an idea, works it up to the where it looks impossible. That's the cusp we are speaking of. Then they get discouraged. That's not the place to stop. Edison could have given up one experiment before he made the light bulb. It took Edison hundreds of experiments to invent the light bulb. He could have stopped when he failed in the beginning or in between. His attempt to invent the light bulb would have failed for lack of persistence. Edison demonstrated tremendous persistence and also learned from each “failed" experiment.
A person's determination is the difference between what is possible and impossible. When defeat overtakes a person, the easiest and most logical thing to do is quit. Before success comes into any one's life, they are sure to meet with a lot of defeat. Most people stop at the first sign of defeat.
Usually, there is hesitancy before one is really committed. The mind considers the chance to draw back into ineffectiveness. Before one takes an initiative to what ever splendid idea or plan , there is an element of ignorance that kills the best of implored creativity. Unforeseen material, incidents and meetings confront genius. The quality of genius is bold. Napolean Hill, the famous author of “Think And Grow Rich" wrote many years ago about this quality. He declared that the only quality all geniuses have in common is persistence. I'm declaring today after careful study. Persistence is what will get you over the “Money Profit Cusp. "
