There are plenty of books out there that teach you how to discover your purpose. But what I have found is that many of the books involve very long drawn processes to help you tap into your subconscious mind in order to discover your purpose.
What I realized through my mentorship with my millionaire mentors is that discovering your purpose is actually quite simple. I dare say this because I know that this technique has helped thousands of people in our training programs and I'm going to shared with you right now the one simple step on how to discover your purpose.
There is a misconception that to discover your purpose, you must search within yourself. There is actually another way to discover your purpose. Instead of looking within yourself, you can actually look backwards. What do I mean by that? What it means is that you have lived a life, which is totally unique to yourself. You have encountered experiences and learnt lessons that everyone can learn from, one way or another.
In other words, your life experiences have made you unique.
So how do you discover your purpose by looking back? Simple. There are things in your life you experienced that you wished you could teach someone else how to overcome. You had overcome and experienced those difficulties yourself and know that it will be useful for others to learn how to overcome them.
What do I mean by that?
As you look back, I am very sure that you could pick out at least three incidents that have made you who you are. These incidences would be so significant that you feel you had learnt a lesson. These incidences would allow you to become a better person or have molded you into the person you are today.
These incidences are the roots for you to discover your purpose. How do you use those to discover your purpose? All you have to do is to combine all these experiences and incidents into one coherent sentence. You want people to learn this or you want people to benefit from learning this.
That is your purpose.
