What Is Tantra?

Tantra, or tantric philosophy, is the practice of funneling human energy in positive ways.

For example, in realtionships, practicing tantra philosphy improves your awareness of your partner's needs and wants. Using tantra, you can greatly improve your happiness with your significant other, as well as other people around you.

In my opinion, tantric philosophy is a process of learning how not to be selfish, and serving the needs of others first. In the process, you will be happier and lead a higher quality life. Online you will notice that a lot of tantra websites focus on the *** being aspect of tantric philosophy.

Tantra is not just about sex, as eveything in life is a sensual experience. It is also about gaining inner peace and learning how to relate to others.

As you can awareness of your interacton with the environment and other people, you will find yourself feeling less anxious, and better able to cope with your frustrations.

Official Wikipedia Definition of Tantra

"Tantra is that Asian body of beliefs and practices which, working from the principle that the universe we experience is nothing other than the concrete manifestation of the divine energy of the Godhead that creates and maintains that universe, seeks to ritually appropriate and channel that energy, within the human microcosm, in creative and emancipatory ways. "

Wow. That's deep-and a bit confusing for us non-philosopher types.

What Tantra Means For You

I believe the important thing to realize as you begin your journey of practicing tantra, is to realize it is an Eastern Philosophy that seeks to help the individual free him or herself from the stress of the material world. These stresses are often manifested as anger and resentment towards other people and our environment.

Eastern philosophers often come across sounding a bit wacky, and out of sync with Western values. But you can begin to enjoy significant improvements in your love life and inter-personal relationships, and achieve a higher level of inner peace with the application of a few basic tantric secrets.

Ron Taylor practices Tantra in an effort to improve his inter-personal relationships. You can learn more about what he has discovered at:
