Some people seem to move through life with confidence and decisiveness. They seem bolstered by a strong sense of their worth and intellectual abilities. Their heightened sense of self-esteem is the catalyst that prompts them to apply for a promotion, a new job, challenging themselves in personal endeavors or beginning and completing difficult projects.

They seemingly make the most of their inner security by moving beyond their comfort zone. Some people shy away from moving beyond their comfort zone. Are you one of those people who shy away from going beyond your comfort zone?

You can learn to move beyond your comfort zone by engaging in an activity, that although it might be demanding, it will not create havoc in your life if you fall short of your desired outcome. You could take a demanding class or learn a skill that would help you in your career. As you explore your capabilities beyond your comfort zone, you will discover that your sense of your value gives you confirmation of your strength and courage. As you find yourself in difficult tasks or situations, you will likely address these challenges with boldness.

Creating self-esteem to push beyond ones comfort zone ensures that when you face demanding situations, you will have the courage, strength and determination to follow through. If you second-guess yourself you will erode your self-esteem without realizing what is taking place behind the scene.

Self-esteem is the foundation of self-trust and enables you to be decisive and follow through. As your respect for yourself grows, you can maintain more confidence, strength and courage to do what you need to do. Risks and challenges cease to be frightening when you can forge ahead with confidence, strength and courage. As you draw upon your self-esteem your confidence, strength and courage will follow.
