Before you allow yourself to invest energy into seeking revenge—remember that the thoughts you have are energetic creations. What are you creating when you invest your energy in negative thoughts or actions of revenge? You are creating an imbalance of energy for which you will need to rebalance in order to set yourself free of the experience.
Everything has a purpose. If you avoid taking their actions personally, you might see another perspective. With a different perspective, you have an opportunity to make a different choice with each situation. You can take a deep breath before responding, allowing yourself time to connect to your center and choose to respond from your higher kinder self.
Consider that the actions of the person or persons had nothing to do with you. You seldom will know all the circumstances that led anyone to do anything. By avoiding passing judgment on anyone, and instead sending hope for their healing, you will create something positive. You can then release your thoughts and feelings, since focusing on it can cause an energetic drain in your system, causing you to only hurt yourself more. When you release your hold on negative events and interactions you can release the person and the thoughts, you leave it in the hands of a wise universe to create the best solution for all involved and you can move into the realm of forgiveness.
