What do you want? Think of one thing that you really want. It doesn't matter how big it is, or how simple it is. What do you want?
Now for the hard part. Will you get it? Are you willing to do whatever it takes? Do you believe it's yours?
Wishing is easy. But believing in your dream is totally necessary if you are going to actually attain it.
I used to always say, “I'd like so-and-so. "
It was easy to voice aloud what I wanted. But on the inside, I berated myself, beat myself up, and treated myself horribly.
"Who do you think you are? Why do you think you deserve that? What makes you think you are that special?"
I would literally beat myself purple and blue on the inside. I'd keep hitting and punching until I couldn't fight anymore. Then I'd give up.
You see, I never believed in myself. I never thought I was worth anything. I never thought I deserved anything. And I told myself that lie so many times that I believed it.
There's been a “soul-shake" within me. You know why? Because I am somebody. I deserve the best in life. I refuse to allow my thoughts take me hostage anymore. I refuse to become imprisoned by fear and self-doubt.
Today I believe. I believe that I can do anything I want to. The world is mine for the taking.
And Jesus said to him, “. . . All things are possible to him who believes. " - Mark 9:23
