If you ever look at the anatomy of the human brain, it may just look like another piece of organ to you. Nothing spectacular isn't it. The truth is, the brain is more than a piece of organ. It controls the various function of the body but more importantly, we can use it to think? We have a mind of our own! Do you know deep within our mind, there lays treasures that we have neglected it?
Have you heard of the term called ‘subconscious’ mind. Yes, this is the treasure that I am referring to, that we have grossly under utilized. The subconscious is just like a repository where it will keep taking in information and without letting out. With such a treasure house within us and under our control, we should make full use of it rather than letting it go to waste.
Our conscious mind is our faithful partner keeping us company every day and serving our needs every day. You can use it to work for you productively. For example, it can be your good secretary by helping you to retrieve information mislaid by the conscious mind and prompting you to act at scheduled time. This could probably be explained why you can remember to do your daily task easily. You may not realize that your subconscious mind is helping you. Have you ever experienced that you can automatically wake up in the morning at the time you desire? To some, they call it the biological clock. Well, whatever it is, I do believe that our subconscious mind is at work.
Since you have such a treasure within you and you can control it, you should use and develop it. Training the subconscious mind takes time. You need to take deliberate action and focus on nurturing the subconscious mind. Have you realized that it is so difficult to stay focus for even a few minutes? Your mind will easily wonder off. It is preciously for this reason, it requires a systematic process to train it using a process of suggestion, giving direction and determination.
First, you have to decide what you want your subconscious mind to do for you. Decide one thing at a time. Take for example, if you desire health, concentrate on health. But remember; do not think of weakness or diseases. Every day, make an affirmation of the reality of health and well being. Spend about five minutes or so each day affirming. If happiness is your desire, concentrate on happiness. Remember again, do not dwell on miseries or disappointments.
Remember what we have mentioned above, your subconscious mind is a repository of treasure. So, deposit only good treasure and not bad ones. Do not contaminate your storehouse of treasure with bad thoughts. Whatever that is in your subconscious mind will manifest externally as reality. For this very reason, it is extremely important that you only deposit thoughts that are positive, regenerative and constructive.
You have your very own subconscious mind and it belongs to you and only you. It does not belongs to anyone else. As such, you should not have any qualms trusting this wisdom of yours. Continue to store up your treasure house with positive, encouraging, motivating and inspiring thoughts and you will make fewer mistakes, and experience a greater amount of health, happiness and abundance in your life.
