Hebrews 10:5-7 quotes from the 40th Psalm speaking in the person of Jesus stating, . . "A body hast thou prepared me:. . . Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me, ) to do thy will, O God. "
Jesus presented His body a living sacrifice for the remission of sin. He is still presenting His body a sacrifice in the earth today through us. We are the Body of Christ. This is why we are told to present our individual members a living sacrifice to God which is our reasonable service.
Romans 12:1-2, "I beseech you therefore brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. " (Read the entire chapter of Romans 12 and you will see the revelation of the body of Christ. )
Psalm 100:5 states, "For the Lord is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations. " His disciples must humble themselves to his work so that He can display his goodness and truth to every generation. This is what He expects from His disciples.
Ecclesiastes 3:14-15 states, "I know that, whatsoever God doeth, it shall be for ever: nothing can be put to it, nor any thing taken from it: and God doeth it, that men should fear before him. That which hath been is now; and that which is to be hath already been; and God requireth that which is past. " Nothing changes from generation to generation concerning His disciples. We must follow His example in the earth to be acceptable to Him. This is true faith.
God shewed signs and wonders in the land of Egypt and in the Red Sea, and in the wilderness that men should fear Him. Nothing has changed in this generation. He expects to do signs and wonders at the hands of his disciples that men reverence Him. The earthly ministry of Jesus before He went to the cross is our example of what The Father expects and requires of His disciples unto all generations.
Notice Hebrews 11:24-27. This should be the attitude of God's servants in the earth today. "By faith Moses, when he was come to years, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh's daughter; choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season; esteeming the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures in Egypt; for he had respect unto the recompense of the reward. By faith he forsook Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king: for he endured as seeing him who is invisible. "Nothing has changed. Suffering always precedes glory. Humility is always before honor. He that suffers in doing the will of God knows the riches of Christ. This is true faith.
