“Praise ye the Lord. Blessed is the man that feareth the Lord, that delighteth greatly in his commandments. ” Psalm 112:1
Today as you go about your daily tasks remember no matter what happens God is with you. You should not let anything rain on your day.
Unexpected events in your life can turn your life upside down, if you let them. Remember the promises God has made you. He will never leave nor forsake you.
Read the rest of the 112 Psalm. It will bless and encourage you to trust in the Lord, no matter what is taking place.
The 7th verse says “He shall not be afraid of evil tidings; his heart is fixed, trusting in the Lord. When your trust is in Him the circumstances of life fade and are not that important. Your purpose should be to please and praise Him. If you know you are trying to live your life for His glory, circumstances are opportunities to strengthen your faith and to let Him reveal His loving grace and power.
One that knows the Lord Jesus Christ as his personal savior should never be defeated by this world. What matters is how you handle everyday life. When you are consumed by circumstances you will not be thinking about serving God. Your desire should be to use each day to grow stronger in the Lord, to become more like Him.
In the book of Hebrews we are told to look the Jesus the author and finisher of our faith. Jesus did not let the events in His life, He had to face, defeat Him. He understood the Fathers will and He was faithful to say and live, “Not my will but your will be done. ”
When life begins to get you down delight in the Lord. Rejoice! God loves you no matter how bad things may seem. He will deliver you from your troubles. A hundred years from now your problems will not exist but how you respond to your troubles will go into eternity with you.
Let Holy Spirit, which is in you; give you the power to overcome all your problems. Praise God from who all blessings flow.
