Creative wedding photography ideas could help you achieve that unique wedding that you like. Couples seeing original and unique photographs of their wedding will make them want to always look back and go through their photos. Innovative wedding photography ideas will make your day, in pictures, more memorable. Discussing ideas would be a great help though wedding photographers also have tricks up their sleeves too. Some of the few ideas that would be discussed include shooting in black and white, using film photography instead of digital, giving out disposable cameras to friends and family.

One creative idea in wedding photography is to have the wedding photos shot in black and white. Having everything caught in black and white; the engagement pictures, dressing up for the big day, the ceremony itself, group shots and even the reception, would make it more elegant and classical. This would work best if the wedding motif were also black and white so you wouldn’t regret losing the colors. Black and white photos get rid of all the sudden bursts of color making the viewer focus more on the emotion and the people in the picture. As a couple, you can ask the photographer to first shoot in color and then just convert it to black and white during post processing.

Instead of going digital, another wedding photography idea is using film photography. Different couples have different preferences; some would want to do it the old school way while some prefers film photography more. Photos shot by film cannot be edited so if you want your pictures looking exactly like how they were taken then this is the right way to go. Most wedding photographers started with manual SLRS and they usually keep a few of the film cameras they have. When looking at photographers, be sure to ask if they still do film photography to make sure you get the look you want.

Give disposable cameras to your whole wedding entourage and ask them to take pictures all throughout the day. You can ask the wedding party to just leave the cameras after the reception. This gives you many different perspectives of your special day. You will be able to see your wedding through the eyes of your maid of honor, flower girl and even your parents. You can also get to relive the father of the bride wedding speech . You may use this idea with a professional photographer still covering the event to ensure that the special events of the day still have pictures.

No matter what type of wedding photography ideas you have in mind, make sure you do what you like and just enjoy the special day.
