Diet to Lose Belly Fat – High Fiber Foods

I remember as a child my mother reminding me to eat all of my vegetables at the dinner table. How was I supposed to know how important that would be later in life when I had to find a diet to lose belly fat. How was I supposed to know that lots of vegetables and regular exercise is the best flat tummy diet? Do you fail time after time again with different styles of dieting? If you are one of the many people who have difficulty losing unwanted belly fat and cannot lose weight no matter how hard you try then consider the following this formula for a slimmer body.

Eat more vegetables.

Eating mostly vegetables is the most effective way to control your caloric intake, and the good news is that they are less expensive than some of the gimmicks I have seen in the marketplace. Low fat and high fiber content is what you need and vegetables, raw fruit, and whole grains fit the bill. When preparing the vegetables, the cook while need to take care not to add any fat or salt back into the diet by adding butter, margarine or salt to vegetables, because this would be counterproductive. However, nobody likes to eat bland veggies. Vegetables can be seasoned with other less fattening seasonings that will add some flavor. For instance, adding lemon juice and cracked black peppercorn can liven up freshly cooked greens and many low fat vegetable recipes can be found in most cook books.

Eat fresh fish.

Nuts are great protein sources. You can provide for your protein needs in a healthy way and various nuts can provide that protein naturally without adding any harmful fat that meats would. Fresh fish is also a great protein source. Understandably, canned tuna or frozen processed fish products are not going to help you in your diet. Only baked or broiled fresh fish will be healthy for you and Tilapia, salmon, trout or fresh tuna filets are good choices while relatively affordable. Remember that you should be seasoning the fish using the same standards as the vegetables, with no added fat or salt.

Daily exercises.

Changing your diet is only half of the requirement for losing belly fat. Thirty to forty minutes of exercise per day is needed to burn off more calories than you have consumed. You will need to find some exercise that you enjoy doing daily. While some of you may some exercise equipment at home to work out on, others may want to join a gym club. You will have to stick to regular exercise if you don't want the belly fat to return.

If you are looking for a new diet to lose belly fat then eat your vegetables and for those that cannot lose weight , try adding routine exercise that you can stick with. For those of us who have tried this flat tummy diet , the success is maintained with regular exercise. Remember to season your food properly and avoid adding any additional salt or fat.
