Office Affairs Are on the Rise

Visitors: 231

When you work in close proximity to a person you can easily become attached to each other. This is only reasonable. Work can be a very stressful time in your day. Perhaps your husband or wife simply does not understand what you do and does not want to talk about work when you get home. This can lead to an emotional separation which then leads into a physical separation. Office affairs are clearly on the rise.

One could call the office an affair incubator if not watched closely. Having shared interests often leads to mutual respect for each other and later on these feelings of mutual respect will then lead to some sort of intimacy.

Work is almost like a separate island for your life. At work the day to day mundane aspects of living together are not present. This is an ideal ground to foster a relationship, whether you are already in one or not. A work environment is very similar to one in college as you both have similar interests and are surrounded by others who can support your interests.

However, you have to keep in mind your company policies regarding office affairs and dating in the office. Do you really want to risk losing your job as well as your spouse to have that affair with someone you work with? Most likely you will lose everything you have and you could end up breaking up with the person you were cheating with.

Also because office affairs are on the rise then this raises some ethical questions for your bosses. If your boss decides to keep you on board after you have betrayed the trust of your wife what assurances will he or she have that you will not do the same for the company? This is a serious question every boss should consider.

Having an affair in the office is perhaps one of the trickiest and dangerous acts a person can perform. The loss of trust on all parties can be quite high and the end result would essentially that you can lose everything you have worked on for so long. Is this something you are willing to risk?

Breaking free from an office affair is not an easy thing to do. Fortunately there are those that have done this before and succeeded .
