Choosing the Right Summer Spanish School - Don't Make These Fatal Mistakes!

If you're looking into attending a summer Spanish school, you have to read this first! All too often I see both adults interested in learning Spanish, as well as parents interested in teaching their children Spanish, wasting their time and money with ineffective language learning habits.

The benefits of speaking Spanish are well known to just about anyone at this point. For adults, there is opened a world of:

Social opportunities
Business opportunities
Inexpensive vacation opportunities

And for children, research has shown that bilingual children have:

Higher test scores
Better memory and retention
An advantage in the job market as the world's economy becomes more globalized

The problem is that most people pursue language learning using outdated, ineffective methods that only make them resent and hate the study process.

Most summer Spanish schools are no different!

How The Brain Prefers To Learn Spanish

When you came into this world, you didn't know any language, and you obviously weren't able to take any language classes.

But by age 2, you were able to speak your first language.

How was this possible?

Through a process called “language immersion".

Language Immersion

Language immersion is the brain's preferred method of learning new languages, in both children and adults.

It is simply the process of surrounding yourself with a language and letting your brain subconsciously figure it all out for you.

The human brain is wired to identify patterns and “solve" them. Language is seen as one of these patterns, and if given the chance, the human brain will be able to figure out any language without much conscious studying.

Like I said, this is the brain's preferred method of learning for both children and adults.

How To Take Advantage of Language Immersion

If you're looking into summer Spanish schools, make sure it is a Spanish school that utilizes language immersion.

If a Spanish school does not use immersion, but rather traditional Spanish techniques, not only will you not learn much Spanish, but you'll come to hate the learning process.

Otherwise, I recommend starting learning Spanish right away. It's easy to utilize language immersion.

I recommend using immersion software to learn Spanish, as well as audio lessons you can follow along with in your car. Anything that has you speaking Spanish right away is perfect.

From there, find whatever ways you can to immerse yourself in the language.

The Most Important Point

Looking into summer Spanish schools? Make sure the one you choose utilizes language immersion!

Cheap travel, amazing food, wonderful people. . .

No more excuses!

Follow my advice and learn Spanish in just a few short weeks using the methods that researchers and thousands of others have proven to just WORK
