Shoes are being created to do just about every thing nowadays from walking to running to playing ball, and now for splashing around in the water. These new innovative water shoes are a breakthrough in technology with their built-in resistance scoops.

Some of these fantastic shoes will provide a significantly tougher workout for the individual as well as help the individual burn more calories than other types of shoes, particularly in workouts that concentrate on the hamstrings and gluts. These shoes have six gills with three on each side of the shoe that measure between one inch and one and a half inch. These gills are designed to catch water and to provide noticeable resistance as the individual's foot lifts toward their bottom after a push-off.

These shoes are an effective way for the individual to strengthen the leg-lift portion of their stride as well as work when the individual is running in place. There is no resistance when the individual's foot moves forward, which helps protect the knee of the individual. These shoes have a thin and highly flexible sole that gives the shoe a tactile and sock-like feel that works the entire foot, much like barefoot running. The all neoprene lining of these shoes make it the most comfortable for individuals when working out. The quick-cinch lacing system works fast and is designed so that it will not come undone.

The only problem with these shoes is that they do not dry quickly simply because of all of the neoprene lining within the shoes. Many athletes have discovered that while they are working out in rehab after an injury that they are capable of running in a swimming pool. These “water" shoes are extremely easy on the joints of the individual when participating in water running and water aerobics. These types of workouts provide muscular and cardio benefits that are similar to land based workouts, but without the intense impact.

As water exercises continue to grow in popularity among professional athletes as well as the general public, this wave of water shoes have continue to meet their need. These shoes help protect their feet from the rough abrasions that pool floors often cause. The added resistance that these shoes gives enables the individual to push their workouts to a brand new level of intensity. The water shoe is an innovative and breakthrough in technology that come equipped with built in resistance scoops.

These shoes are great for any type of water aerobics with their flexible and comfortable sock-like feel. Some of these shoes have a partial mesh upper that will allow them to drain and dry more quickly, which is great for trips to the gym. The majority of these water shoes that are available on the market today are versatile as well as tough and they are definitely great for running in the water.

The water shoes that come with the mesh lining truly does allow the shoes to dry faster than the ones that are designed with the neoprene lining. The majority of these shoes are designed for non-chlorinated water sports as well as chlorinated water sports such as water aerobics, rafting, kayaking, water running, and many more great water activities.
