You can easily get the best views of different boats at a boat show. With the Milwaukee boat show having the biggest spring boat show that exhibits the newest boats along with the finest quality of boating accessories. The show is geared towards every member of the family, you can let your child tag along, there are also activities for them which they can enjoy and educate them about boating along the way. It will boast boats of over 300 models with above 100 various manufacturers. From expert fishing rigs, cruisers, pontoon boats, runabouts, motor yachts and aluminum boats, they have them all. Also they show has lots of activities to do from cruising, sunning, wakeboarding and even simply just playing around waters.

Located at the Wisconsin Expo Center in the State Fair Park, the show will cater for two full weeks, you can easily get it for $8, and children from 6 to 14 are only charged for $4. Children under 5 can tag along to you for free. As with most boat shows, you can have free stuff, upon admission, you can instantly get a year subscription of Power Cruising, Wakeboarding, Yachting, Motor Boating Magazine, all $7 worth of value. There were many activities that were featured in the 2008 show; here are some of the highlights:

Pro Wakeboarders and Skiers

* The 2008 show had featured Dave Briscoe, a coach at wakeboarding. He went to the Lauderdale Lakes Marina on Friday to Sunday. He instructs at the Winter Camp in Florida, he is one of the finest and coach around the world.

Wisconsin Scale Boats

  • Model boat lovers can jive in this rare displace of vessels. They demonstrate their crafts and will likely give out the best features of each, located at the West Concourse, scale boats are always intricate masterpieces.

    National Weather Service

    There are also events that were great. From safety certification courses to anything about boating and fishing, covered with every aspect and great tips, you can never go wrong with coming on a boat show.

    A few highlights on the 2008 events were:

    Walleyes

  • John Bergsma presented a water presentation of fishing Walleyes. He tours full time at Walleye pro, in his 14th year, he earned a 7-time pro walleye tour championship qualifier. He also won the 1992 PWT. Since then, hey had been a speaker at various seminars for fishing on walleyes.

    Fishing opportunities

  • Dan small discussed different species of fishes for experience and beginner anglers alike, he is the host of Wisconsin outdoors. He is the speaker of the most popular seminars in fishing.

    There are almost 200 hotels listings that you can stay during the event. The usual rate per night is $78. You can try Brumder Mansion Bed and Breakfast. It has complete amenities including their specialty, bed and breakfasts, spa, whirlpool tub and everything that comes in a quality hotel. While boat shows are only held once a year, it can be a very large event, most of the time covering acres of showroom for manufacturers to exhibit their products.
