Wooden Climbing Frames and Keeping Children Fit

Visitors: 172

So many children these days seem to have much more energy than I remember from when I was a child. It is a constant battle for parents to keep their children occupied and worn out by the time they go to bed. Climbing frames are ideal to wear them out and give parents some peace indoors and in the evenings once they children are in bed, after a great day of activities on their climbing frame. It also helps a lot in keeping children away from obesity, which in this day and age is a constant worry both for health issues and other areas such as bullying.

One of the most popular climbing frames for the back garden is the Gate Lodge Climbing Frame from Action Tramps. This playcentre has a fantastic array of activities which will give a all round workout whilst children have fun. As many people know, trying to get children to do exercise can be an uphill struggle so to incorporate it into fun with these kind of outdoor toys can be seen as a godsend.

This particular climbing frame is a perfect example of getting children out in the garden, have fun and to keep away from junk food, TV and consoles. Incorporated into it is a large log cabin for making into a camp, a clatter bridge joining the two towers together, a commando climbing net, swings, stairs, sandpit and overall a playing area which links together to give them constantly in motion.

Putting together the whole playcenter is usually a straight forward process with clear instructions which may look complicated but are in fact easy to follow. Many parts come preassembled so it is just a case of bolting them together, which soon starts to produce a strong structure. Leaving a gap around the edge of the frame is best, to allow movement around the edge as well for safety in case of falls.

As well as wooden climbing frames , there are many more outdoor toys to provide a great deal of fun and exercise without children knowing it. These can range from playhouses which are similar to climbing frames, trampolines which everyone knows are great fun and you never seen a unhappy child on a trampoline. There are also smaller items such as go karts and bouncy castles which are becoming increasingly popular to buy and not rent.

With the summer shooting past so quick, activities which can be played in the garden all year round are a great thing which means climbing frames are here to stay. Add together healthy eating, limited console and tv whilst it is light outside and children will lead a very healthy upbringing.
