Many businesses have already figured out that there is an alternative to slogging away at central London offices and paying sky-high rents and it is to choose an office in the commuter belt and make the most of areas such as Berkshire and Reading.

Offices and headquarters that can be leased in places such as Gravesend and Epsom aren't just popular with the bosses leasing the space but with their staff who prefer to work outside of the capital and enjoy the slower pace of lifestyle on offer in the suburbs.

To learn more read this article, which has helped to write, as it will tell you more about the commuter areas and note a couple of reasons for choosing office space outside of the central London area and consider the further off areas and all they can provide a business.

Many office workers all across the city of London have one major issue that makes their trip to work a highly stressful experience that gets their blood boiling - I am, of course, talking about the hassle of London public transport. Sharing a close personal proximity with complete strangers in a train carriage is hardly anyone's idea of a relaxing commute, but you'll be pleased to hear that working in the outskirts means that you can take a leisurely drive to work by car.

One key selling point for employees moving to the suburbs is that you can purchase a house there and enjoy a much higher standard of housing that just aren't compatible within London living. Out-of-town office workers tend to spend much more time in the outdoors kicking back in the fresh air and beautiful surroundings while their London colleagues ram themselves into tiny office spaces and pay top whack for the privilege!

Choosing to lease offices that aren't in the centre of London may worry company executives who fear they'll miss out on London networks but with much business being conducted by email this isn't such an issue any more and you can continue your business as usual. Plenty of money is saved by moving to the outskirts so you can channel more cash back into your business and into developing your business and pursuing company goals - give your company space to grow outside of London.

With excellent transport services such as trains from central London with frequent services from Charing Cross, Waterloo and Liverpool Street, so you can be in the centre of London for business meetings and head out of the city when you're done. This is one of the best reasons for taking London office space .

You can always fall back on the resources London has and you can recruit staff and attend the functions that the capital city provides for its businesses and industries but without signing on the dotted line for it. Choosing an office that's not in London can come with its own perks that can ensure your company stays ahead of game by allowing you to make connections outside of the capital and putting you in touch with companies from all over the country.

After all, picking office space just outside of the capital means that you can make the most of the vibrant city while not needing to resort to office space there - all it takes is some courage to make the first move!
