Like iPhone and iPod Touch, the iPad is controlled by a multitouch display. Ipads are the tech-hiccups to the students or in other words a boon to the student. The applications used in ipads are amazingly listed and this list made it impressive to all.

Thanks to its superb technological permutations and combinations, Apple has come up with yet another masterpiece, the much reviewed iPad, or the tablet computer. The iPad is supposed to revolutionize the educational scenario with its unique user friendly features. A sneak-peek into its pros and cons might be of help to the prospective users.

Students can read, print PDFs, and organize useful stuff for handling class handouts, research papers, etc. IPad applications are not only useful for entertainment through multi-media but also it makes surfing the web, checking email, watching movies, and reading books so natural, one might forget there’s incredible technology under your fingers.

Ipads have been praised as a valuable tool for homeschooling. Ipads have some glitches where people have to suffer with some technologies used in it. For school/college students who are disabled ipads play a crucial role who cannot take online education using keyboards. If a child is not able to use his hands or fingers, a touch screen like the iPad cannot be a useful gadget. Online education has 2 way conversations with live person; where as in ipads mostly 1 way conversation is there, where some students lack in understanding until and unless they have the translator or the teacher who can teach them the concerned topic. Ipads are topic specific whereas education can be discussed in broad.

Online tutoring company like TUTORS KINGDOM EDUCATION, already exploring how they can use this new device to further deliver exclusive and customized content to their customers. They have already sounded out their vast tutor bank to provide much technical stuff to satisfy their customers and are in the top list of e-learning market.

It is extremely light weight, with great battery backup of about 10 hours, with a memory space that can save up to 80% of the weight of heavy books of a student. One can also make notes and keep for a quick look before exams. It shall compel a student to concentrate more on one topic due to its one task at one time feature. It is handy and portable, which is the best part.

It does not read e-books which are disadvantageous; also the absence of a camera might sadden clients. It also does not support citations or equations, which might be problematic, but not always. The only major problem is the absence of a standard size keypad. The flaws seem little to cause any major problem, and hence the iPad is here to stay for sure!!
