Pro Life and Pro Choice Are Both Half Right Or is it Half Wrong? Heres Why Part 2

Are you pro-choice or pro-life? Either way - I don't believe that you really believe it. In a previous article - I used car-pool lanes to show that most Pro-Life people don't really and fully believe that an unborn-child is the same as a fully born child.

This article show the other direction - namely that pro-choice people do not really believe that an unborn-child has the same legal and moral status as a woman's toe.

Before you read any further, write down on a piece of paper if you are pro-life or pro-choice. Then on the scale of “pro-life"or “pro-choice" opinion - write down how certain you are of that position.

If you are pro-life - write down whether you believe that an unborn child should have the exact same legal status as a born child.

If you are pro-choice - write down whether you believe than an unborn child should have none of the same legal rights and status as a born child.

OK. . Here we go. . Let me show you that almost all Pro-Choice people don't really believe that an unborn-child has none of the same rights as a born child.

Do you - in your heart of hearts - believe that an unborn child has no inheritance rights? Consider a man Joe and his wife Mary. They have two kids Robert and Beth. Mary is two months pregnant when Joe dies. Joe's will says that 1 million dollars should go to his wife and the remaining 3 million dollars should be split between his kids. Should Robert and Beth split the money or should the unborn child also get his/her share?

Most people believe that if the baby is actually born, then the estate of 3 million dollars should be split 3 ways. This means that even though the baby is not yet born yet, and even though the probate court might make a decision prior to the baby's birth - the unborn-child still has inheritance rights. That means, that at least in some ways he has some legal rights.

I have asked many people - over 98% have told me that the unborn child should have inheritance rights.

I believe that most people believe that they are strongly pro-life or pro-choice; but actually they have a position that is more in the middle. In fact, I believe that pro-life and pro-choice people have a closer view than they realize. I describe that view - in part 3 of this series.

Rabbi Michael Trachtman believes that the best way to understand the Bible - the Old Testament - is to study it in its original language and meaning. If you want to understand the Hebrew Bible and its secrets - the best way is to learn it from Jewish Rabbis who have been studying it for over 3300 years.

To get a FREE booklet detailing the 7 things in the Bible that God promises will give you a longer life titled: “God's 7 Biblical Recipes For a Long Life" - please go to http://www.GodGivesLife.com

You will then have many opportunities to study with Rabbi Michael the Hebrew Bible and how it relates to you and your families life.

Rabbi Michael Trachtman lives in the beautiful mountains adjacent to the holy city of Jerusalem.
