Do you think that Randi’s efforts to promote RtoZ media will pave way for its success.

RtoZ media’s founder Randi Zuckerberg is taking every possible step to keep her new initiative RtoZ in the limelight. Of course none should be surprised by the strategies she would implement to make RtoZ a house hold name and surely her six years association withFacebook as the lead marketing manager should come handy for her. As a part of her promotion strategies she is conducting programs like “Do you want to meet Randi Zuckerberg?” in schools and colleges. The students from these schools/colleges will get a chance to meet Randi Zuckerberg if they tweet with a hash tag #R2Z and the tweet should start with “I should meet Randi Zuckerberg because…” . The selected tweets will be handpicked by Randi herself. And the winners of those tweets will get a chance to meet Randi Zuckerberg. And on November 30 2011 she gave an inspiring talk in Ithaca College- New York. And she displayed the top tweets hand picked by her with the hash tag #r2z . Few of the tweets by the students read.

“I should meet Randi Zuckerberg as I’m obsessed with social media, Integrated marketing and Amazing women in the communication biz! #r2z“

“Because I’m a self made, self marketed social media enthusiast with 3,000+ followers and an ounce of fame to my name. #r2z”

“I want to talk about the formula for “success”- not fame , not fortune but the Passion , Ambition , Dedication and Creativity. #BeProud #r2z.

Clearly Randi is taking this initiative (RtoZ media) very seriously. And even before her firm has attained a fully operational status, She has tasted her first success. In the last cyber Monday deal many companies slashed the prices of their products but only few sites did a dramatic turnout as BeachMint did. They collaborated with Randi and her firm RtoZ Media to come up with something unique on the cyber Monday. BeachMint launched a unique Facebook application with a live video streaming that features celebrities introducing series of products that are available in limited quantity and the viewers can purchase these products with a real time inventory count down. It was a social version of home shopping network. Actually this innovative concept does not speak of the magnitude of the success it created but the outcome does. Reports from BeachMint states that atleast 50,000 people would have watched the show and Cyber Monday was BeachMint’s biggest sales day in its history. Above things can be summed up in just two words “It worked”. This success has further increased the speculation and curiosity on RtoZ media.
