Can We Help Our Country?

The pain of the people is real. People are now living in panic not knowing how this economy will affect them. Those who do have jobs are uneasy, those who have no jobs are hoping for light at the end of the tunnel.

At present, people filing for unemployment has skyrocketed, the most since 1982. Big institutions are looking towards laying off thousands of their employees. Jobs are hard to find. Some companies are coming up with creative plans on how not to lay off workers. The truth is, people need help. the country needs help.

What can we do as a country? Even though we know that we have a lots of experts in our country who might be able to solve the economic crisis, but is this a surety?

It is believed that this crisis will not last, but the reality is that many are feeling the effects of it. This country was founded on prayer, but the last thing people seem to be thinking about it that, prayer. Even though we can look to the experts for a solution, the real solution lies in the hands of the Lord. It is written, “righteousness exalts a nation", but this must be an act of faith on our part. We must take charge of our faith in our God.

After 9/11, so many people turned to prayer because they saw God alone had the answer to that situation, but after the smoke has ceased, people have left praying. We must as a people turn back to God and to prayer. Prayer changes things more than you ever know. The people who will humble themselves under His mighty hands will be exalted. If we are to proud to humble ourselves, then we will be humbled.

As an individual, who do you turn to when there is no one else to turn to? Who do you commune with when you are desperately in need of a solution to a problem? Who can you truly trust to fix things for you? Well, just as you need the Lord to solve your problem, we need the Lord to solve our economic problem as well. Nothing is too hard for the Lord to solve. All He needs for you to do is to trust Him. When the Lord is pleased He will act. But without faith it is impossible to please Him. Let us as a people find a place and time to seek the Lord for our country. The Lord said that you would find Him if you seek for Him with your whole heart. If you seek Him early you would find Him.

Because of his faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, Anthony Arnasalam knows without a doubt that the country's solution is in the hands of the Lord. More than anything else, Anthony encourages the people to prayer for our country, it will do us a whole lot of good. The Lord is waiting on us to call upon Him.
