Developing self awareness both individually and collectively powerfully works to transform and change the world. The Universal Law of Attraction has helped hundreds of thousands worldwide open to the possibility that their thoughts, feelings and beliefs back up their actions to powerfully transform their lives.

We now stand on the brink of collectively developing our self awareness outwards to take on transforming the world. We have a chance to expand and develop our deepening self awareness and acceptance of our innate power to cause transformation on every level and in every community within which we interact. This includes the wider global community with whom we share our common planetary home.

Just look at the contrasts offered by the current disasters in both Myanmar and China and how they are being handled by the relevant governments.

China was struck by a massive 7.9 earthquake and the governmental disaster relief response has been markedly prompt. Media coverage has reached an unprecedented almost 24/7 cycle.

China has not always been so efficient in providing aid. In the 1950's, millions of Chinese starved to death in the famine that swept the nation during its ‘Great Leap Forward’ governmental push. The Tangshan earthquake resulted in hundreds of thousands of deaths. After 4,000 persons died during the 1998 floods, much larger resources were pumped into upgrading of flood controls. China has greatly improved in its ability to respond to natural disasters that have historically affected its people.

In addition to wanting to be seen to be a world leader and reap the benefits of world public opinion for that, the recent global fiasco in the historical precursor Olympic flame journey across the planet has made it critical that China regain face.

China is determined to prove to the world that it cares about its people because of the upcoming World Olympics to be held there and the constant and more recent relentless criticism of its treatment of Tibet.

Let us now look at the alternate handling of the Myanmar cyclone disaster by that country's 12-General Junta in part 2 of this article.
