One of the best ways I know to get hundreds of highly targeted visitors overnight is from ezine advertising. It is a very powerful method of getting traffic and leads because the people who will visit your page have proved themselves to be responsive to emails. If you do it right, they will be responsive to your emails as well. So how do you do ezine advertising right?
Probably the best directory for finding ezines to advertise in is the Directory Of Ezines. Do a search for ‘directory of ezines’ for Google and you will find it. Use the search facility to find publications that are related to your niche topic.
You will want to make a list of potential ezines to advertise in. Make a note of all their advertising rates, for classified ads, sponsor ads and solo ads. Solo ads are the most effective ones because the publisher will send out an email that consists only of your offer. By the way, I usually use Microsoft Excel to create a document of all the potential ezines I want to advertise in.
The next step is to sign up for all of them. See their style, what kind of ads they run and how frequent they email. You want to make sure the ezine is informative and interesting so you will know that your ad will get a response. Then you will want to start small by buying just one ad first and testing your results.
Most people send their ezine traffic to a sales page to get back their investment. But the best way to exploit this strategy is to send visitors to an opt-in page to build your list, where you can ring in the sales on the backend with your autoresponder.
