Traffic exchanges can be a numbers game. They do work to some degree although the response can be poor even for free sign-ups. Too many marketers give up after a few sessions because they don't feel they are getting results.
What I do with traffic exchanges is to build a downline for list building networks like ListJoe, and the downline will build my credits for the list building network. Then I promote directly in the list building network.
That is the method to use to make the most of traffic exchanges.
Here are some more tips for using traffic exchanges to grow your business by leaps and bounds:
1. Use A Quick Loading Splash Page
A quick loading splash page is either a page with a graphic link to your main website or a page with an opt-in form on it. Your goal is to keep your page short and curiosity inciting. This is because, on a traffic exchange, a visitor will only see your page for seconds. Use an eye-grabbing graphic to capture attention.
2. Build Your Downline
Build your downline for your traffic exchange too. A downline can promote and get other members as well and all these will grow your credits and get you more page views on the exchange. There are various ways you can build your downline, including: article marketing, sending a solo ad to your list, forum marketing, ezine ads, social networking and blogging. The bigger your downline is, the more credits you will get totally hands off!
