You will notice there are three variables in the first step, not just the right people, but “message", and “product" too, unlike most marketers you must focus on all three and tweak all three until you find the combination that works best for you.
Who: target only those who have purchased similar products before, or who are actively searching for your product today
What Product: the product others selling to your target audience - shoe buyers will buy shoes from you too.
What message: check what the competition are saying - create a message that makes your solution unique and valuable to your visitors, or your list.
You cannot attract a vegetarian to your list, no matter how unique your message is about your great beef products.
If you are an network marketer, your target market is people who have been in network marketing before, are in today, or are actually buying information today about it.
Likewise if you are an internet marketer, you are looking for people who were doing an online business before, are currently active, or are buying information about how to start today.
Take a critical look at your product, even if it is free, your message, and who you are trying to reach, and make whatever changes you need to now.
