What makes other custom business cards look more professional and how come your business is not flourishing despite your aggressiveness in handing out your cards?

It's no secret that a successful business card printing design needs to look professional. Your business card is a concrete representation of your business and how you would want to be known by your target market. It reflects the nature of your business, as well as provides your clients and prospects with your kind of brand.

By learning the simple rules and applying them to your next business card printing design, you can ensure that what you provide your target clients from now on are quality and professional cards that reflect the real you.

First things first, you should bear in mind that your contrast is a very important element in terms of providing that visual aspect in your cards. Why do you think the conventional black-on-white is so popular even up to this day? You got it right. It's because the two colors contrast each other. The two colors stand out against each other that make it easy to attract the attention of your audience.

Second, consider repeating your elements in your print cards. Reiterate throughout your promotional tool your color, font and typeface, texture, shapes, sizes, as well as your graphics. It makes your print card easier to read and understand. The key here is to always make it easy for your target readers to read your contact information so that they'll be able to reach you right away.

Consistency is king. This is the third strategy. Avoid using too many fonts and other elements in your card. It can only hold so much with its limited space anyway. If you use one typeface, then use it all throughout your card. Don't try to be artsy by using too many different elements. You'll only clutter your custom business cards.

Next, you have to also look at the alignment in your text and images, and the relationship between these two. It doesn't matter where you place your text - left, right or centered - as long as they are consistent throughout your card, then that's great. If you have a graphic image, you can find an element within that element which you can use to align your text in your print card.

Finally, ensure that your related information in your custom business card should be close to each other. Proximity of your information helps your target readers find what they need immediately so they could contact you as soon as they are in need of your service.
