One of the main purposes of writing articles is to build your list. Once you have a list your can expose it to your product funnel. The way to succeed online is to create a product funnel that contains several products that vary in price and format. For instance, a typical first product may be an e-book priced at $97. Then a second product, a three-part CD series priced at $297, a third product, $1,000 home study course and a fourth product, a $4,000 mentoring program. This is the typical characteristics of a successful product funnel and is generally easy to create. So how do you create products that you know your subscribers will want purchase from you?
Well, the way to do this is to ask them. Ask your subscribers what it is that is holding them back from achieving their goals and desires. What is it that they are stuck on and need help in resolving? Ask your subscribers to give you three or four items that are holding them back from achieving their ultimate objectives. It is vitally important that you structure your question correctly so that they give you the precise information that you are looking for. Their answers will help you craft your next product. If you ask them what they need or you ask them what they would like to purchase, the answers will not be specific enough. What you will end up with is a totally different list of their desires. So be specific in your questioning. What is it that is holding them back from success?
To answer this question your subscribers will need to focus on the skills, information or techniques that they are lacking. They will need to dig deep and be totally honest with both themselves and you.
Once you have their answers, you should use this information to structure your next product, and this can be delivered in many different formats, including one-on-one telephone conferences and face-to-face seminars. Once you have this information, it is important that you continue to ask any new subscribers the same question. This way, you will be kept up to date with what it is your niche market is looking for. And although this might seem time-consuming and a chore, it will pay you dividends in the long run. It also serves to help you build a relationship with your subscribers.
